녹색평화연합은 분단과 대결의 상징이었던 DMZ를 생태와 평화의 성지로 바꾸어 가려고 합니다.
우리의 꿈은, 전쟁의 상처로 남겨진 지뢰를 치우고 그 자리에 평화의 나무를 심어 남과 북을 잇는 KOREA DMZ 500KM 평화의 숲길을 조성하는 것입니다.
이 길 위에서 지역 주민과 전 세계의 사람들이 함께 걷고, 자연 속에서 평화를 누리며, 행복을 나누는 날을 우리는 희망합니다.
작은 관심과 참여가 DMZ를 새로운 미래의 상징으로 바꾸는 큰 힘이 됩니다.
